This idea was spawned by reading Spectre-7's idea
titled "Enhanced Wireframe Mode".

As mentioned it can be difficult to discern distance while
trying to select faces, vertices and edges. On top of
that, just plane selecting them can be difficult if they
are close together.
Here's what I've got (unless someone else already thought it)
What if there was a way to use selection proximity?
It would need to be something you can toggle on and off
because it would only be useful in those tight times.
But when turned on, you could adjust the proximity size
much like in Sculpt mode when you press the Fkey to resize.
That way, anything outside of those bounds will not
accidentally be selected.
I just thought of a problem with this + another solution.
Blender would not know what to consider close or far away
automatically. But the 3D courser could be used a target
point to fix this problem.
I don't know how to explain this better since I'm not an
intellectual, but maybe you get what I'm trying to say?
Who know's. Maybe this could some how be combined with
