for those who know www.crazybump.com its obvious how powerful its real-time openGL preview is. for those who dont - well...u should see this immediately.
crazybump has INSANE realtime normalmap , occlusionmap , displacemap etc, preview and it would be CRAZY to have this within blender!!!!

texture paint with clone tool -> tweak

painting textures in uv/image editor window allows u to clone image over an existing texture - really handy tool for adding details and decals, etc. BUT, the cloned image can only be moved around - u cannot scale and rotate it - this would extremely improve texture painting workflow using clone.

it would be really handy to be able to browse network drives running windows xp or any other OS...typical example is rendering using indigo on multiple machines when master node shares textures and user has no way to use network share within blender to set up texture paths.

retopo tweaks

as u paint using retopo on ur base mesh for the first time - u cannot paint further on the same mesh. it could be cool to be able to paint more and more adding geometry to the same mesh using snapping to vertex (as u can snap to the end of the paint line now). now u have to paint pathes and connect them manually later - which is painful.

and incororate it into blender for easy transformation of jpegs into normalmaps - sorry if its stupid and impossible - i was just wondering....
