Cool idea but what ever comes up MUST BE VERY EASY TO GET USED TO. I AM NOT GOING TO LEARN BLENDER ALL OVER AGAIN. It took like a year to get fully used to it. (So I am productive.)

Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't this exactly the opposite of the Blender's UI philosophy? Non-overlapping interface.

It looks cool.
It also looks complicated.

What are the advantages compare to current user interface? Is it easier?

I have not vote yet.
More explanation, please.

The most fanciful user interface for 3D application I've ever seen is Daz Bryce. They say it's Intuitive User Interface, they made it to be artist friendy. Here is the sample:
http://www.daz3d.com/sections/software/bryce/images/features/UIscreenshot.jpg

The most unusual user interface I've ever seen is Lightwave 3D. It seem outdated. It don't use icons (similar to Blender). It has 2 toolbars. Main toolbar on the upper side of screen and side toolbar on the left side of screen. All buttons are text-based. But it's really easy to understand and use.

The most powerful user interface I've ever seen is Blender. It's use text-based button but graphical drawn so can be resized. User can splits the viewport as many he like. The button tabs are customizable and arrangable.

Fanciful interface only please new user, it do not speed up workflow. Simple interface is easy to understand and can ease your workflow. Customizable interface is a bit hard to understand but very useful for power user.

Blender's interface is nice for me. But I hope user can customizes the buttons, I mean to choose which buttons to put on what tabs.

Powerful never implies intuitive - Cinema 4D is the most intuitive GUI i've used - i'v eused Maya, Blender, Lightwave, Cinema 4D, Wings 3D and some others - C4D's interface is the one that BOTH intuitive AND Powerful... 3D is a VISUAL hobby/profession - where the heck is drag'n'drop? SO much in Blender is VERY manual. I will not argue the interface is bad - it's not it's GREAT! But it can be made MANY times better - when the best of all worlds are combined things can only get better

it seems to me that voting something down because it has no use to your self is unfair - no one is asking for the removal of any functionality - a non-vote might be more fair - we're asking for a more organized workflow...

also - i do not see blender's current interface as being strictly "non-overlapping" at all... sometimes you have to dig and dig to find things...

@etyrnal

You have experience of using many different 3D GUI. Perhaps you could post a new idea about Blender GUI. Let's make Blender better.
