Description
It would be cool if we could stick notes onto nodes and groupnodes explaining what the intention for the node is.

The best analogy I can come up with is documenting methods in programming languages.

I think the node naming feature (in SVN) covers this quite well. Give it a go unless you already haven't.

Maybe a simple node colled "notes" with text area ?

@Uriel: That is what I was thinking of.

@bebraw: Does the node naming feature provide the abitlity to write whole paragraphs? Cause I would like to have the ability to explain the reason why a node is in the node system.
This is also very handy for exaching node setups.

To explain the behaviour in current SVN:
You can change (or rather extend) the tile of the node - nothing less, nothing more.
The title will look like "(Myname) Originalname" after renaming (instead of just "Originalname").
Already very useful and easy to use IMO.

Nevertheless, putting full-fledged descriptions next to the nodes is not yet possible AFAIK ...
I think a simple "text" node with a big field for putting text into (or opening the text editor on [TAB]) would be the easiest and at the same time most useful way to do this.
It wouldn't even need any connectors or anything - call it "Sticky NoDes [TM]" if you like ;)
