Description
It may not seem very useful, but it would be nice for if you often doing same project that take several days.

Yes I mean so.

I don't really think this is nessecary since opening blender and pressing [CTRL+O] [ENTER] will automatically give you the last blend file worked on

Thanks musk. But I think it should not be a 'hidden' feature. So would it be nice if we could have a button/option for it?

Its not really a hidden feature per say.

Overall the CTRL+O shows all the last opened files. and by default the last one is highlighted. By pressing enter it opens the selected.

When I work with the same project, the option mentioned by Musk is so automatic in me that its hard for me to judge if this feature can be useful.

I guess when Blender crashes, it can be quickly reopened with last saved file.

But opening by default last saved file. How would blender know if when you are opening it, you want a clean page or the last saved object? Somehow to me, this in it self could cause an issue. It safer to open default file.

Thanks for Prodeous's explanation.

Now I know if this feature is set as default could cause problem. Perhaps it can be an option on user preferences window.

For default it's no good, but for option it can be useful sometimes.

Thanks for consideration.

when you are tired of the same Blender project and you wanna go to do something else, just go files and save default setings... then when you found some inspiration go back and open blender again! Thats all!
