Description
Why do we need to spin an object, Undo, change values, spin, Undo...?

I propose another modifier stack (for smaller mess), in which I change Spin values in any time. That will allow me to make a small corrections in objects profile and to make the mesh more dense when I need it.
A possibility to select a spin center would be needed. That could be an object's center or [OB: ] field.

It isn't a huge waste of time just to click Apply.

I would expect the same thing for fractal subdivision and Screw.

The spin tool has a benefit that you can apply it to a small part of the object easily. Maybe if this modifier has a VertGroup option to apply to it would be allright.

There was a lathe modifier in one of the Graphicall builds which basically does exactly what this idea is about (at least the "spin" part)

The most recent build is e.g. this one:

The array has some of the needed elements, but not sure if it can do a "spin", but it might be a good area to implement this idea.

This looks like a duplicate of part of idea #98, where I proposed to have a modifier for lathe and a modifier for extrude along a curve.

I guess it's not yet finished so that step was never done.

I'd love to see this too. But FYI, you can do the same thing with an added step; A curve modifier pointing to a circle curve.
