Description
ie. copy an objects position in 5 frames time

I'm making an animation with an aeroplane and it would be really useful if I could track-to the aeroplane's position in the next frame, so that the aeroplane is facing where its going. This would prevent so much manual adjustment and save a lot of time.

This can probably be done with a python script, but would be easier to use as a constraint property.

It would be for animation what Array is for modelling! (and for animation, I guess...)

I've thought about this again, and actually just have a constraint that 'ghosts' other objects would be sufficient. I've been writing one in python, but isn't working yet. (I'm unexperienced in python and getting data from different frames is proving problematic).

Done, you can find the script at http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?p=1099436

Handydan-that's great.there could be made a directory in svn for python constraints, so these don't have to be found on forums. And actually, you implemented your own idea, so you should maybe mark it as implemented ;)
