idea #528: Border select that doesn't suck

Description
In complex scenes, it's virtually impossible to select a bunch of related objects.

Doing border select on them will pretty much select the entire scene (how useless is "Select anything and everything in the entire universe that is touched by the rectangle"?). On the other hand, shift-rightclick-select is so inaccurate in solid mode that you will randomly select nonrelated objects as well.

Totally obvious proposal: Make borderselect only select objects that are ENTIRELY inside the border and NOT occluded.

Try ctrl-leftmouse in object mode and you get a sort of lasso.
one 'fix' for this might be the way autocad's border select works- if you drag from the right it only includes what's within the rectangle, if you drag from the left it includes whatever is touched.

I also think that's the right solution.
