Description
Users of blender might have wondered how to change or animate the texture of an object.

Maybe should exist an actuator for this, with option to animate the texture on X, Y or Z coordinates and other to change it (using another image file).

Maybe they could have the option of using an image as BumpMap and not having to use a script.

this is a good idea. Being able to set the frame rate it plays back in: positive for fowards and neg for backwards playing of Frames. Also being able to load and play frames would be usefull.

Being able to scroll textures over the surface of objects by animating the UV's .eg. you setup the distance, direction in U and V and the frame rate and then the texure scrolls over the surface.

It should also support multiple UV sets and work using blender materials. (if anyone does attempt to make this ;-)

It would be very useful, because with actual realtime options (i'm referring to a method without scripting) you cannot add settings to specify in wich frame should begin an animation (sprite image).

for example, when something collides with another object and a plane with a explosion is added.. the first time works well (if time-life of the plane, and duration in frames of the sprite are equal), but second and so on is not correct because of sequence of the animation, seems not to be from the beginning of the sprite, but the same animation time(and frame) is for each plane created on scene.
